Vaughan Lake is part of Lac Seul, 15 miles long and 4 miles across at its widest. A boat-in 20'x24' outpost cabin is accessed from the Deception Bay landing on Lac Seul. It is a fish sanctuary closed to fishing until mid-June. Incredible walleye fishery with up to 100 walleye per person per day; 20 lb northern pike caught every year. Boat access to the rest of Lac Seul is only 4 miles from the cabin.
