Summarized Review Highlights
Camp Anjigami, located near Wawa in Northern Ontario and operated by hosts Craig and Linda Williams, holds an overwhelmingly positive reputation across dozens of reviews. Nearly every reviewer awards the camp a perfect five stars, and repeat visitors are common — some returning annually for a decade or more. The consensus is that Craig and Linda are the defining strength of the operation: guests consistently describe them as warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, going out of their way on details like mid-week check-in flights, delivering drinking water or supplies to remote outposts, and helping guests troubleshoot logistics like lost passports. The scenery — pristine lakes, rocky cliffs, loons, moose, eagles, and wolves — draws equal praise across nearly every review.
The camp offers two distinct experiences: the main Camp Anjigami on Lake Anjigami, which functions more like a full-service wilderness resort with bunkhouses, cabins, a lodge, beach, games room, kayaks, hiking trails, and group facilities; and several remote fly-in outpost camps on lakes like Tik, Rod, and Ogas, which offer true wilderness isolation for fishing-focused guests. Fishing for walleye and northern pike is consistently praised, with guests reporting steady catches and some trophy-sized fish including pike over 39 inches. The cabins at both the main camp and outposts are repeatedly described as clean, well-stocked, and more comfortable than expected, with amenities like hot running water, propane appliances, functional boats and motors, and composting toilets noted as highlights. Guests who are not anglers also report having a great time through hiking, kayaking, swimming, wildlife watching, and simply relaxing.
Critical feedback is rare and minor. A small number of reviewers noted things like a gas grill igniter that didn't work, the absence of a knife-sharpening stone, the presence of bunk beds only in certain cabins (flagged as a consideration for couples), no cell coverage at the remote outposts (expected but worth knowing), and one group that struggled with fishing due to arriving without live bait and missing the bait store hours. One repeat guest noted a lighter-than-usual catch on one trip, though they attributed this partly to conservation-minded limits on fishing days that Craig and Linda have put in place. None of these are recurring systemic complaints. Camp Anjigami is well suited to a wide range of visitors: groups of fishing buddies targeting walleye and pike, multigenerational families looking for a mix of activities, couples seeking seclusion at an outpost, first-time fly-in guests, and anyone wanting a genuine Canadian wilderness retreat without sacrificing basic comfort.

Unforgettable Wilderness Adventure at Tik Lake
My son, brother-in-law, and nephews recently spent three unforgettable nights at the Tik Lake cabin, traveling all the way from Indiana for this amazing adventure. The journey was absolutely worth it. The scenery was breathtaking, with pristine waters and lush, vibrant landscapes that made every moment special. Linda and Craig were exceptional hosts, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. The fishing was phenomenal—we caught over 50 walleye, which was incredibly exciting for everyone. The top-notch accommodations provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere after long days of fishing and exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting a majestic moose, adding to the magic of our wilderness experience. We highly recommend Linda and Craig's fly-in cabins to anyone seeking a beautiful, scenic getaway with excellent fishing opportunities.

A memorable stay at Ogas Outpost
We were on a cross-Canada flight in our private floatplane from Vancouver to Toronto and we were looking for a one-night stay at a fly-in cabin somewhere in the Wawa area. Craig and Linda were very accommodating and said that 4 out of their 5 fly-in cabins happened to be available for the night that we were looking for. They also said that we could stay longer if the weather turned for the worse and we needed an extra night or two. We ended up choosing to stay at their beautiful cabin at Ogas Lake. Talk about being comfortable - nicely appointed bedrooms with very comfy beds. A propane fridge and stove in the fully-equipped kitchen. Propane lighting for the evening when it got dark. And no going outside to an outhouse - the bathroom had a composting toilet for our convenience. There was a generator available as well to have electric power to charge our all-important cell phones and iPads that we used for communication and navigational assistance during our flights (it should be noted that there is no cell coverage at Ogas Lake - not surprising and we didn't expect it there). While we aren't fisherman and didn't use the boats and motors, the outpost was well-equipped with them for avid fishermen. We certainly did see fish coming to the surface when we went for a nice late-afternoon paddle in the outpost's lightweight canoe. All in all, we had a very pleasant 24-hour stay at Ogas Outpost and left with a very good memory of Camp Anjigami's accommodating hosts. While we didn't get to meet them in person as they are based at Lake Anjigami, we really appreciated their hospitality.

Incredible week on Rod Lake
My husband and I spent a week at the outpost camp on Rod Lake in early August 2022. The location is beautiful, and the cabin is very well stocked and comfortable. Craig and Linda were there to meet us and show us around when we arrived, and also flew in mid-week to check on us. They really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. We saw several moose and other wildlife during our stay, and caught walleye every day during our week there. We have stayed at a few other outpost camps in Ontario, and this was our favorite by far. We can't wait to return!

Excellent Vacation!
Our family's summer vacation brought us to Camp Anjigami this year, and after staying 5 nights there we've all agreed that our trip was amazing. Camp Anjigami is mostly surrounded by Lake Anjigami, allowing almost every view to be photo worthy. The cottage was well kept, with all the necessities equipped. The camp had numerous activities which all of our members enjoyed, including; swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, BBQing and pool. And along with those activities, the camp offered many places to simply sit and relax, one of those places being the community area, which had rocking chairs and an area for a fire. The hosts of the camp, Craig and Linda, who were such kind and caring hosts, also offered to show us activities. Linda showed our group a hiking trail across the lake called 'Robs Trail' which boasted an incredible view on top of a rocky hill near the end. Craig individually taught each of the younger members of the group how to operate the boats, which we later rented out. We highly recommend to anyone reading!

Amazing destination!!
Our group stayed at Camp Anjigami for three nights but we could have stayed for another week! We stayed in the bunkhouses and the newly constructed kitchen, which are clean, fully-equipped and very affordable. The hosts, Linda and Craig are extremely accommodating and friendly! There are so many activities to do at the camp, including kayaking and canoeing on the lake (especially during sunset!) and playing pool in the community game room! We had such a relaxing and fun experience in this little piece of paradise and look forward to coming again:)

Perfect getaway!
As you can tell from the many reviews, Camp Anjigami is genuinely one of the best getaway experiences. You will be met with Linda and Craig, who are amazingly accommodating, generous, and kind hosts. Whether you stay in the bunkhouse (like we did) and use the all-inclusive newly built bunkhouse kitchen, or book one of the other cabins, you'll benefit from breathtaking views and scenery throughout your stay (as well as very reasonable and affordable rates). There isn't a single spot that isn't picture-worthy. Our group loved the community area with a games room (pool and shuffleboard) and a large gazebo with picnic tables, a bonfire pit, and a bar counter. The beach has soft white sand leading to clear waters. We recommend renting boats or going out on kayaks to experience the beauty of the lake in the water. There are scenic points at different points of the lake reachable by boat, and specific fishing spots. Camp Anjigami has something for everyone and we recommend it for anyone thinking of taking a trip (but book before its booked)!

My daughter's 16th birthday on Tik Lake
My daughter and I spent an amazing 4 days on Tik Lake this past June. The fishing was good and we were able to enjoy plenty of fresh fish. Craig and Linda were gracious hosts and flew in shortly after we arrived to introduce themselves and answer any questions that we had. The camp was clean and nicely equipped with 2 fridges, gas stove, cooking utensils, and even hot running water. Boats and motors were all in excellent working condition with plenty of fuel. The views from the camp and all over the lake are incredible! We saw moose every day and even saw one swimming across the lake. Perhaps my favorite experience was opening the windows before bed and listening to the loons on the lake. We will definitely be returning in the future to enjoy this little piece of paradise!

Ideal vacation spot — Paradise Cabin
Stayed in Paradise cabin and fished the main lake. Great pike fishing along with some walleye. Saw otters, loons, and eagles regularly. Bocce ball, horseshoes, swimming, kayaks available. Boat engines run like a charm. And the stars!! Craig and Linda are the most gracious, helpful hosts I've ever known.

Great Time on Tik Lake
I spent 5 days on Tikamaganda Lake with my brothers in late August and early September and we had an unbelievable time! The cabin on the lake is top notch - hot water, great wood stove, porch, and everything else (and more) you could ask for on a fly-in! Fishing was very good- we ate lots of walleye and caught a 39 inch 15 lbs pike! Lost a much bigger one, so there are some trophy fish in Tik! Linda and Craig were extremely helpful and made the entire trip easy to coordinate. Craig even came and dropped off beer and water at no extra charge so we weren't overweight! Looking forward to our next trip - thanks for an incredible time!

Best fishing trip ever
The caretakers of this lodge know exactly how to make you feel right at home, Craig and Linda were so friendly and extremly welcoming. The lodge we stayed in was beautiful and very spacious. Even with ten people, it was never crowded. When it came time to fish, craig was very helpful in pointing out good fishing for both walleye and nothern pike. We could not have asked for a better place to stay, or better people to share our trip with!!!

Fly in Fishing
We had a great time at the cabin on our own private 4 mile lake. The cabin had just about everything you could hope to have stocked. The only thing I wish we would have had there was a stone to sharpen our filet knife. The walleye fishing was just great and that's what we were going after. We had a groundhog in camp and I think he might have a home under the cabin. The gas grill igniter button didn't work, so be careful when lighting it by hand. The camp shower was a nice touch and very much appreciated. Bring lots of mosquito coils - they made the cabin very mosquito free and we burned them non stop. The boats are great and the engines run like a top. The swivel seats were great!!! If we stayed longer we would have portaged over to Shasta Lake. The journal in the cabin had several people recommend it. Maybe next year! I enjoyed meeting Craig and Linda (owners) they are both great to work with to make your stay great. We had the best luck on the North end of the Lake but my husband caught some nice fish on the South end. A few loons on the lake and we enjoyed hearing them. Saw a beaver working away and we named the seagull hanging out daily Sammy. Absolutely beautiful lake and wilderness.

Serenity, wildlife and fish - What could be better than that!
I went to one of their outpost camps near Wawa, Ontario with my two son in laws and my youngest grandson in mid-July. We weren't sure what to expect, but must say we were pleased with the arrangement process and accommodations provided by our hosts, Linda and Craig Williams. They provided excellent planning information on their website down to the last detail, and made choosing and booking our fly in fishing trip easy. The even helped when I discovered I had lost my passport the morning we were leaving to go up north. The flight in to the cabin was beautiful. Lakes, rivers, and nothing but wilderness as far as we could see. The cabin was situated on a point in Lake Roderick and was located not too far from the best fishing. Fishing was good, not great - but given the fact that we had never been there before and were limited to the use of artificial bait we did very well, catching many walleye and several pike. The bait thing was our mistake. We got into Wawa too late to get any live bait, and flew out before the bait stores opened. All in all, we had a great trip. A peaceful getaway, great company, and enough fish to keep us happy and well fed. We would recommend this adventure without hesitation.

Roderick Lake Trip
My father, brother and I wanted to take a fly-in fishing trip and the fly in from Hawk Air to Roderick Lake did not disappoint. Craig and Linda were there to meet us and go over some things in the cabin. They also brought a 5 gallon jug of clean drinking water so we didn't have to bring tons of bottled water or boil the water. Everything we needed was at the cabin even propane lighting, which was a good thing to have. We had an entire lake to ourselves and tried to fish every inch of it. While we did catch a lot of Pike, we didn't catch a Walleye. I believe it was too early in the season. Despite that fact, we will be sure to do something like this again!

Camp Anjigami, the perfect place for a great fishing trip — 10th Year
This is our tenth year at Camp Anjigami, and is our annual father-son-grandfather trip. We had 17 people this year, but groups have ranged from 5-20 and it never disappoints. One of our first timers said it best, 'There is SOOOO much to do (fishing, hiking, rock climbing, portaging, ATV riding, horse shoes, playing cards/pool, swimming, kayaking...etc.); but you don't have to do anything at all to have a great time.' It is as peaceful or adventurous, as quiet or active as you want it to be. Our group loves to just unplug from the world and spend quality time together. I prefer in a boat with a rod in my hand, others prefer riding, some quietly with a book; but it has been a great place to teach, watch and learn from our kids as they grow. As a side note, we had our first two girls, 7 & 9 in camp and they loved it too. The accommodations are top notch and in great condition, clean and well kept.

Outpost Getaway
Stunningly beautiful setting and we both felt so relaxed within minutes of our arrival. We caught and released many fish over the course of the week (pike, walleye) and enjoyed being on the water in the boat. Read many books, stared at the stars, had campfires almost every night, enjoyed every minute of the experience. I was anxious about being so isolated (I've never done this type of trip before) but I felt safe and secure throughout the week. I would highly recommend this 'experience'. And the float plane ride was so cool! Gorgeous. We really enjoyed the isolated location in wilderness, and the fishing was good, considering we are amateurs and didn't bring a depth/fish-finder. We caught enough fish to have fish meals most days. Craig and Linda were very pleasant hosts and set up the cabin before we arrived. They also visited mid-week to ensure everything was going smoothly, and brought additional firewood for the approaching cold weather. We saw loons, beavers, and a moose. We caught walleyes ranging from 10" - 20" and northern pike from 12" - 40". Note to couples: there are only bunk beds in the cabin.

Family Christmas in July
Our four vehicle caravan of fifteen family members ranging in age from 7 to 73 engaged in everything Camp Anjigami had to offer. Every activity was a Kodak moment. Searching for fish, playing with an abundance of beach equipment; kayaks, canoes, pontoons, fishing boats, raft with slide, volleyball net and campfire. We 'did it all' as we took in the most beautiful scenery, relaxed, read, and enjoyed quality time with the family. Our hosts, Craig and Linda were totally friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the two bedroom main lodge, with screened in porch, pool table, huge fireplace, very modern and spotless bathroom facilities and enough games, movies and books to occupy a rainy day and we also had the four bedroom bunk house, besides preparing our meals in the fully equipped immaculate kitchen and the dining hall with two enormous tables and enough chairs for all of us. Camp Anjigami supplied all the amenities needed for a very successful and most enjoyable family vacation and all we needed to do was arrange food, cook our meals, bring our own bedding, give everyone in our group plenty of space and so many memories were created to fill our heads for years to come. Our hearts were bursting as we observed our adult children relax, unwind and fully enjoy their time spent with family.

One of few TRULY GREAT places!
Returned just a few days ago from our fifth trip to Anjigami (actually, flew-out from, or near, Anjigami to the Lake Rod outpost, also owned/managed by Craig and Linda). Quietest, most relaxing place I have ever been (that includes the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains, plus the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans). The only sounds we heard, other than our own voices, our boat motors and occasional thunder were the cries of the loons, the howling of the wolves and (very rarely) the far away sound of a passenger jet flying high above us. Although we did not catch as many fish as usual on this last trip, we would all still rather have been there than anywhere else! Craig and Linda are doing some things that will help to conserve and grow the fish population (re: limited number of fishing days), so we believe that the fishing there will be great throughout our lifetimes, and beyond. And the first time you meet Craig and Linda - and every time afterward - you have the feeling that they are a couple of your oldest and dearest friends that are so happy to see you again - and it's all sincere and from the heart! I really believe that they would all echo my sentiment - the beauty, the peace and solitude, the accommodations, the fishing, and the host and hostess - Craig and Linda - are superlative! We always find ourselves wanting to return, even before we get our gear all unpacked.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful places in the world
The title of this review says it all....if you have never been to Gods Country than you need to visit this wonderful camp. Craig and Linda treat you like family and have one of the best maintained fishing lodges I have ever been to. The camp is clean, newly renovated and spacious. All cabins, bunk house, mess hall and main lodge are clean and fully stocked with every need. The grounds, beach area, and boat docks are all well maintained. Every year that we visit Camp Anjigami I hate going home and anticipate the next visit as soon as we leave. This camp is a must see. Once, will not be enough and you will always want to go back. A proposal, a honeymoon, and a secluded paradise.
Camp Anjigami has become one of my favorite destinations in the world. Four years ago, my girlfriend and I took our first trip to this northern paradise and we've been back every year since! Two years ago was a very special trip for us. I proposed to her on top of the cliff that overlooks the main camp while her sister, brother-in-law, and the owners, Craig and Linda all took pictures. It was an absolutely amazing trip that we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. One year later, we spent our honeymoon at the Lake Tik Outpost. This was another amazing trip that I recommend for any adventurous honeymooners. The comfortable cabin was set in one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I've ever been. My first fish was a 40" Northern Pike that looked like a shark coming in! From then on we caught numerous pike, walleye, and even a lake trout. It was such a wonderful experience to be in a secluded cabin with the love of my life for an entire week. No bothersome phone calls, emails, or visitors; just each other. It was one of those trips that really sticks with you, and made us both want to just move in to the outpost! So as someone that has now stayed in the Main Lodge, the Loon's Nest, the J4U cabin, and the Lake Tik outpost; I know that you'll have a great time no matter which adventure you choose! I can't wait to get back there this year. We love Camp Anjigami!!

My Home Away From Home
When I'm looking to get away from it all, Camp Anjigami is the first place I think of. I've been coming with 3 different groups every year for the past 10 years including a trip with my 3 sons, with friends from college and a retreat for supporters of our non profit. Everytime the experience has been great. Craig and Linda are excellent hosts and continue to make Camp Anjigami a better place each year. It has about anything a person would want to do out in God's creation - hunting, fishing, mountain biking, boating, hiking, or just sitting reading a book. Can't wait to go back.

Great trip worth repeating!
We have visited Camp Anjigami every year for the past three years! We have stayed in the lodge one year, the loon's nest, the just for u, and did a week at their fly in cabin on Lake Tik. Lake Tik was absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend it if you love peace and quiet in a beautiful setting as well as fresh caught fish for dinner. My family loves the beauty of the main camp, lake, and cliff across the water as well as the huge variety of activities available. My husband and I love to explore and fish and always portage to at least one other lake, which is always a great adventure! Some of our favorite things to do include walleye fishing at night, hiking the cliff, kayaking, trout fishing the river, and just spending time in the beautiful outdoors. The owners are wonderful and offer clean and comfortable accommodations. We look forward to seeing them again every year now too!

Great trip with my 2 boys
My wife & daughter took a trip to Paris & I took my two young sons (then 12 & 8) to Camp Anjigami. I was the clear winner here! We stayed in the Loon's Nest, which was just the right size for us. And what a great view from the porch! We were a bit pre-season due to the wife's schedule & were the only folks in camp & Linda & Craig were very very hospitable, even letting us use their computer to stay in touch with my wife. I still marvel that this place which is literally 'off the grid' had such things! This is on my short list of 'places to get back to'. I would give way more than 5 stars for location if possible!

Something for everyone - fun filled and relaxing, all in one
We have visited Craig and Linda annually with a group of families for a few years now, and look forward to the next year as we are making the trek back to the states after our fun week. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the boats are maintained well. They tell you the fishing areas to focus on, and are readily available for directions to the hidden lakes reached by trails. If you do not fish, there are trails to beautiful falls, blueberry picking, climbing the mountain, or just relaxing with a book while listening to the loons. My husband even surprised me with a long weekend in the fall, and was it beautiful! Fishing in Pike 2 (a smaller lake) was awesome with fish jumping out of the water at our lures. Well worth the drive!
